For me, this period has amplified how families are both incredibly beautiful and a downright messy affair. Woven into this series is the idea of limitations being bitter sweet. The joy of having managed for the first time to include my son in the process of exploring portraits made together, a celebration of nature, and a recognition of barriers that exist in physical space and relationships. Our lives, compressed into very specific spaces.

This was a fun and different experiment to do with my son. Shot over the course of two days.
