“Luminious and compassionate portraits, striking landscapes and quiet details, all bathed in warm light and captured with soft focus, characterise Miechowski’s dreamlike yet urgent work. Situated on the British East coast, known as the fastest eroding in Europe, the series opens up fundamental questions about the fleetingness and beauty of life as well as people’s resilience amidst the onset of a new reality, hyper local in its focus but global in shared atmosphere.”Tim Clark, Editor & Curator
Saturday 14 October | From 3pm
This event will see the artist, Max Miechowski, in conversation with Tim Clark, editor & curator, to discuss Max’s practise to date and investigate themes surrounding this project.
