This is a series of photographs capturing candid moments in our everyday life as it is now. Documenting the feeling of being choked up from usual activities due to mandatory isolation, even though I preferred it when it was by choice. All that is kind of lost now – the balance my family is trying to have even though there’s no doubt we already sort of had that , due to the sudden shift to imbalance, we are being forced to accommodate with each other more in our home. A place where the heart is. This pause that we are experiencing has allowed me delve deeper to the beauty that exists within my home, the concept of doing things together as a family are moments that have become extra special because I feel like I am more .. present. The dominant emotions during this time is feeling suffocated but also connected with my family. Connected to a place that’s home and exploring it in a different light which is a reflection of feelings during this isolation. A mixture of ( both )bitter sweet moments.
