GEERT BROERTJES
Geert Broertjes is a Dutch photographer who is fascinated by what motivates people, the choices they make in life, and why. Geert graduated from the Photo Academy in Amsterdam. Since then his work evolved into a poetic, melancholic and romantic version of reality. His work was exhibited at Triennale der Photographie, Unseen, Rencontres d’Arles. Broertjes works with analogue cameras and makes both high-end digital prints and superb silver gelatins. He currently lives and works in Amsterdam.
