Description

OD Photo Prize 2021 | Shortlisted Artist

I began shooting film in 2013 just to document my surroundings in my home state of Montana. Over the last ten years, that process has expanded in scope to include the broader Western United states as phenomenon like climate change and political polarisation continue to change the communities and landscapes.” – Patrick Warner, 2021

Patrick Warner is a photographer and GIS Specialist born in Missoula, Montana and currently residing in Cedar City, Utah. He received his BA from Carroll College in Psychology and Political Science in addition to a Masters in GIS from the University of Washington. His work primarily deals with his surroundings and the landscapes of the Western USA. He has been featured on booooooom, Juxtapoz, Velvet Eyes, AINT-BAD, and Fotographia amongst others. When he isn’t working or out photographing, he is reading a book, enjoying the outdoors, spending time with his friends and family or sleeping.
