RYAN STALEY

Ryan Staley [@powercorruptionandlikes] lives a double life. By day he is at his desk at a law firm, but in his free time he turns his attention to the peculiarities found on Los Angeles’ streets. What makes Ryan such an extraordinary talent is partly his ability to get up close and personal with the characters he encounters. This no nonsense approach allows him to find unusual compositions and to bring his subjects to life in a unique way. With no formal training and having only picked up a camera a few years ago when his law firm gave him his first iphone, Ryan doesn’t conform to industry norms. This has given him the freedom to go out and express himself.

“I’ve grown up to appreciate that I have my own way. I once met a photographer (now a good friend) who immediately laughed at the way I hold my camera. I had no idea I was doing anything unusual.
