How to Enter

We are delighted you are interested in entering our online competition, Home.

The competition is open to entries from all nationalities and from all levels of photographer. So amateur through to professional. The artwork submitted must include a photographic element.

You can enter 1 – 6 images along the theme of Home.

Once you have your images and you are ready to submit, please pay the submission fee via the payment system above.

Please name your digital files with the following: Title, artist name, where it was taken

Upload the images via WeTransfer and include the link in your submission email.

We will need a small written explanation of the work you are submitting, so let the judges know about the process involved and or the story attached to the image or series. No more than a 200 words is necessary.

SUBMISSION CHECKLIST

  • Paid my submission fee
  • Titled my images (images ideally 300dpi)
  • Uploaded my images to WeTransfer – link added to my email
  • Use the order number from my submission purchase in my subject line
  • Include the images background text in the body of my email
  • Send to odsubmissions@gmail.com

The deadline for submissions is 30 April, 2020.

We really want this to encourage creativity during a bleak time. This competition is also a great way to gain exposure to an international panel of judges and a wide audience.

 

The Winners will be chosen by our judges once the deadline for submissions has passed and the winning works will be exhibited online via the Open Doors Gallery website for a period of one month. The artworks will be printed here in London and made available to purchase via our webshop. 50% of the sales will go to the artist with a further 10% going to the mental health charity Mind.

A winner will also be selected by Open Doors & Setanta Books and have work published in a limited edition zine later this year.
